Almond bounty bars {Vegan, Paleo, Raw, Gluten, Dairy, Sugar free}
Recipe type: Dessert/snack
Serves: Makes 6 squares
  • ½ cup desiccated coconut
  • 2 + ½ tsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • Coating;
  • Dark refined sugar free chocolate
  1. Place the coconut, almond butter and sweetener of choice in a blender or food processor and pulse until you have a sticky mixture.
  2. Press your coconut mixture into a prepared baking tin (try not to eat it all!) and place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove the coconut mixture from the fridge, melt your chocolate and pour over the coconut layer.
  4. Place in the fridge again fro 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the fridge cut into square and enjoy!
